The one things that I really took away from playing around within Thimble was that the tags need to surround the part it want to detail to tell them that the is the code. This apples for the CSS Coding too. The rest I have learnt is within the text within the Page below.
Coding I came across, which I hope to gain an insight into: <!—Stuff in these marks don’t show up on the webpage – you can explain the page in these --> ? <h1> this is a heading tag ? Ccs – cascading (I'm not really sure of what this does or means yet) ? <p Position <p these are what surrounds each section </p> ? <img this is the image tag ? src= this is the source of the website ? Coding I came across, which I hope to gain understating of: I found out the we could add animation into our Comic Strips if we wanted to. <style> ? body { ? background-color:#EFEFEF; ? font-family:"Ariel", sans-serif; ? line-height:1.2; ? text-align: center; ? padding: 40px 0 0 20px; ? </style> ? </head> ? <body> ? These pieces of coding are pretty obvious, as I progress through the course I hope to be able to use them with ease. As well as changing the text and position of my speech I changed the colours and fonts which I did independently to the task set. My Final Comic Strip 11/8/14
I didn't realise at the time but with this piece of work I was changing the CSS Coding! I know understand more about HTML and CSS and will update my knowledge in another post. Learning 'How' to use X-Ray Goggles - This is the fun I had be using X-Ray Goggles - Don't forget to push the 'Activate Button' once on your page!
'Use of BBC News Website' Scratch became my life in my first year of university! The hours spent playing the same game over and over to get ride of any glitches. This was designed to help children in Year 2 with French. I am proud of my Scratch Project and have already used it along side computing teaching in year 3 on my first school placement last year.
